Our Therapy Services

I offer therapy for moms, kids, couples, and families — in-person in Jersey City, NJ, and virtually across New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Below is a look at each service. If you're not sure which one fits, that's completely normal. We will figure it out together is part of the free consultation.

Types of Therapy We Offer

SPACE for Child Anxiety

When your child is anxious, stress on the parents can build and have real negative affects on the family dynamic. SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is an evidence-based program developed at Yale's Child Study Center that actually works through you, the parent, not your child directly. Over a series of weekly meetings, we work on reducing anxiety-driven behaviors like school refusal, separation anxiety, bedtime anxiety, reassurance seeking, and selective mutism, so you can bring back calm and connection at home. Available in-person in Jersey City and virtually across NJ, NY, and FL.

Perinatal & Postpartum Support

As a perinatal mental health certified (PMH-C) therapist, I work with moms through pregnancy and years into motherhood, on things like postpartum rage, birth trauma, intrusive thoughts, and the feeling of not recognizing yourself anymore. You're not broken, and you're not alone in this. We'll work together to help you feel like yourself again.

Trauma comes in many forms and can shape how you show up for yourself and the people you love, often in ways that are hard to name. I offer trauma-informed therapy in Jersey City to help you process what happened at your own pace and move forward without it running the show. This includes support for birth trauma, PTSD, and past or childhood trauma.

Trauma Therapy

If you and your partner keep arguing over the same things or find all the little fights are piling up, couples therapy can help. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help couples understand what's actually driving the disconnect underneath the conflict. This includes couples navigating the very real strain that comes after having a baby - like when the fight about who's more tired is often really about an anxious child, or two exhausted parents running on empty. Sessions are collaborative and not about assigning blame. The goal is always to help you find your way back to each other.

Marriage Counseling & Couples Therapy

When a child or teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, or big behaviors that are hard to explain, it affects the whole family. For younger children, I offer in-person play therapy — a genuinely hard-to-find service in this area, and often the most natural way for a young child to process what's going on. For teens, I provide therapy addressing anxiety, depression, and self-harm, always with care and without judgment. I believe in LGBTQ+ affirming care for clients of all ages.

Child & Teen Therapy

Immigration Evaluations

Navigating the immigration system is stressful and deeply personal. I provide comprehensive mental health evaluations for hardship waivers, asylum cases, VAWA, and U-Visa and T-Visa applications. I work closely with your attorney throughout the process, and I bring the trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach your case deserves — you'll be treated with care and dignity from our first conversation through your final report.

What Changes When You Do Therapy Work

Therapy isn't about feeling a little better. It's about understanding yourself in a way you never have and letting that change everything.

🔹 You feel less alone. Sometimes the first shift is simply having someone who truly understands what you're carrying without judgment, without minimizing, without trying to fix and solve the problem for you.

🔹 You break the cycles. The patterns you inherited, the ones you swore you wouldn't repeat. We look at where they came from and how to actually change them.

🔹 You figure out who you are. With your own needs, identity, and sense of self that exists beyond your family, friends, job, and your to-do list.

🔹 You show up the way you want to. Less reactive. More grounded. Present with your loved ones without the guilt, the rage, or the numbness getting in the way.

🔹 You understand why you feel the way you do. Not just to manage it, but understand it. That's the difference between surface-level relief and lasting change.

🔹 You stop judging yourself so harshly. This work isn't about becoming a perfect person. It's about becoming a more compassionate, clear-eyed, and connected version of yourself.

Not Sure How To Start Therapy?

That's what the free consultation is for. We'll talk through what's going on and figure out together what kind of support makes the most sense - for you, your relationship, or your family.
