About Stephanie and FAQs

As the child of an immigrant, I bring empathy and understanding to the challenges immigrants face when navigating the United States immigration system.

I am passionate about giving back to my community. I worked in the New York City court system helping victims of crime and domestic violence. As a result, I am deeply committed to providing comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive services, including mental health evaluations for hardship waivers, asylum, VAWA, U-Visa and T-Visa applications.

  • First, I’ll connect with you to confirm that my services are a good fit for your case, answer any questions, and schedule your first appointment. After booking, I’ll contact your attorney to gather any important background information. We’ll meet for two 90-minute sessions—either in my Jersey City office or via video—and I can arrange a translator if needed. Afterward, I’ll complete a detailed mental health evaluation, which you and your attorney can review before receiving the final report by email or mail.

  • You’ll receive the draft evaluation 2 weeks after your 2nd appointment. I’ll let you know the exact date. If you need it sooner, I offer a 3–5 business day turnaround for an additional $300.

  • A mental health evaluation can be a key part of an immigration case. It helps show that trauma, abuse, or hardship has affected your mental health, and it supports your case for legal relief. A strong evaluation adds credibility and makes sure your story is clearly understood in the legal process.
